The Role of information literacy on human resource performance at training organizations

Abstract:

This research is done with descriptive method in correlation way, to study the role of information literacy on human resource performance at training organizations. The Population was 131 people from all high school managers at Qazvin province in the academic year of 2014-2015. Also 97 people were selected as sample on the basis of Cochrane formula which was chosen systematic randomly. The research has two tools which are: One compiled questionnaire based on 22 outcome criteria under 5 standards which inserted at "Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education" (ACRL, 2000) and the other is human resource performance questionnaire which is based on standards of managers performance that made by researcher. (Ghourchianand Mahmoud, 2005). The results indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between information literacy and human resource performance at training organizations in the aspects of the duties, ethics, values, skills, attributes, roles and result.
