Identifying and analyzing the factors affecting the policing security of the tourism industry in Iran: a Delphi study

order and security is one of the most vital needs of the tourism industry, and the police plays a key role in this field. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to identify and analyze the factors affecting the security of the tourism industry in Iran.

The research is of a mixed type in terms of the applied purpose, in terms of the nature of the data, and in the framework of the qualitative-exploratory and survey-Delphi stages. In the phase of qualitative-exploratory study, the components of tourism police security were identified. The findings obtained from the qualitative phase were the basis for designing the Delphi questionnaire as a research tool in the quantitative phase. The Delphi survey was carried out with the participation of 40 specialists and experts. Delphi panel members were selected by purposive sampling method. Descriptive statistics and Kendall's coefficient of agreement were used to analyze the data in the Delphi survey stage.

The effective factors on the regulatory security of the tourism industry in Iran are: monitoring, monitoring and disciplinary supervision of the police on the order and security of tourism; Prevention of crime and disorder in the tourism sector; Strengthening traffic management in tourist routes and areas; interaction, participation and coordination in creating tourism order and security; Dealing with criminal cases in tourism; providing administrative services to tourists; Empowerment and specialized training of employees in the field of tourism order and security; Police control and dealing with evasion in tourism with an agreed ratio; Information elites on the factors disturbing the order and security of tourism; Information and media activity in the field of order and security of tourism. In the final stage of the Delphi survey, the agreement coefficient in all the mentioned dimensions was higher than 0.7

According to the results of the intra-organizational participation of most of the specialized police to realize the objectives of order and security of tourism, it seems obvious. Also, the security of tourism in practice requires joint efforts, interaction and constructive cooperation of the police with the set of organizations and institutions related
