Analysis of the essential features of Ahsan debate based on the teachings of the Holy Quran in the practical life of Imam Ali (pbuh)

Whereas verbal debate and persuasion of the audience in a correct and effective way has been one of the important topics of social interactions from the distant past to the present age of communication; The present study has been conducted in order to apply the concept of "good argument" based on the teachings of the Holy Quran and modeled on the practical life of Imam Ali (AS). Data collection in this research is a library method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings of the study indicate that contrary to the lexical meaning of the dispute, which is often interpreted as "verbal militancy", the Holy Quran also pays attention to the positive meaning of the dispute and interprets it as "the best dispute", and some characteristics Has also introduced to achieve it; Therefore, based on the verses of the Holy Quran, five of the most essential features of the best debate, including: 1- allegory expression 2- empathy with the audience 3- use of argument 4- being polite and avoidance of ridicule 5-observe fairness and avoidance of bigotry were selected. Then, by examining the life of Imam Ali (AS) in Nahj al-Balaghah, practical examples for each of those characteristics were explained separately.
