The Role of Small University Cities in Sustainable Economic Development of Surrounding Villages (Case Study: Villages around Sorkhankola)

The aim of the present study is to investigate the role of Sarkhankola city in its surrounding villages. Its spatial territory consists of the villages around the city of Sorkhankola and the statistical population of this study consists of households living in the surrounding villages (11 villages) of the city of Sorkhankola. Since the total size of the statistical population was (3476 households), so a smaller sample of the statistical population was determined and according to the calculations using the Cochran's formula, 203 samples were identified. Therefore, the most important results are in the order of the hypotheses proposed in the research text that there is a 99% correlation between the distance and the amount of product sales outside the village. The results of independent t-test show that there is no significant difference between the two areas in terms of product sales inside and also product sales outside the village. There is a significant difference of 99% between the two regions in the absorption of marketing of products in the daily, main markets, rural cooperatives and agricultural jihad of Sorkhankola city. And there is a significant relationship between staying in the village, there is no significant difference between the type of village and the situation of immigrants using WiFi Kramer test. There is a significant difference between 99% and 95% in terms of satisfaction with referring to economic services in most components.
