Cultural development from the perspective of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the Islamic Republic of Iran

The present article examines Imam Khomeini's (RA) view on cultural development, and deals with the nature and function of culture in society and its important role in the development of a country. The need to pay attention to this issue should be considered in the place of culture in the development of other political, economic and cultural dimensions. Therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to answer the question, what is the importance of cultural development from Imam Khomeini's (RA) point of view? The findings show that Imam Khomeini, emphasizing the importance of culture in society, emphasized the pride and self-confidence of the Iranian nation based on Islamic values. Considering the importance of cultural and social foundations, he emphasized the constructive and excellent characteristics of the Iranian people and the need to preserve and strengthen these characteristics.
