The Mediating Role of Self-Esteem and Causal Attribution in the Relationship between Human Dignity and Productivity
The present study was conducted with the aim of mediating the role of self-esteem and causal documents in the relationship between human dignity and organizational productivity of East Azarbaijan prison staff in 2018.
The research method was correlational and analytical. The statistical population consisted of 330 employees of the General Administration of Prisons, of which 153 after identifying distorted questionnaires; Were selected by proportional sampling method with Cochran's formula. Data collection using standardized productivity questionnaires of Olsania et al. (2012), humble and critical human dignity (20217) based on Salim Nejad model (2009), Rosenberg self-esteem and causal documents of Seligman et al. (1979) With content validity and reliability of each above 0.7 was obtained and approved.
The results of SPSS software and path analysis showed; Human dignity mediates self-esteem and positive and negative causal documents in explaining organizational productivity (p <0.05).
As a result, managerial and organizational factors along with employee personality factors can have a positive impact on organizational productivity.
