Investigating the Relationship between the Use of Information and Communication Technology and Social Cohesion and helath among the Citizens of Borazjan

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the use of communication and information technology and social cohesion among the citizens of Borazjan.

The present study was an applied study in terms of the type of purpose, a breadth in terms of breadth in terms of scope, and a cross-sectional study in terms of time. The research method in this research was survey method. The statistical population of the present study was all citizens 18 years and older in Borazjan, whose number was about 85 thousand according to the latest statistics and 384 of them according to the sample power method as a sample size was selected. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and PLS Smart statistical software

The results showed that between the use of communication and information technology (P = -0.30) and all its dimensions, ie hardware use (P = -0.24), software use (-0.33) = P), network use (P = -0.35), telecommunication use (P = -0.27), social networks (P = -0.31) with the degree of social cohesion among the citizens of Borazjan and the negative relationship There are inverse and meaningful.

Based on the research findings, all research hypotheses are confirmed. Also, the results of the structural equation model (Smart PLS) show that religiosity has a negative and moderate effect on social cohesion (-0.47) and the religiosity variable explains a total of 0.22 of the variance of the social cohesion variable.
