The concept and consequences of employee`s Social undermining and relationship to job involvement

The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept of Social undermining , its consequences and its relationship to job involvement of the Employees.  Research  method is Attributive -analytical and descriptive correlational. In addition to the  printed and electronic resources, Statistical population was  including  employees of Khorramabad`s area two education selected by comparative random sampling method ,86 person completed measurement tool. To collect data from job involvement`s questionnaires Edwards and  Kilpatrick s (1984) and Social undermining Duffy and co-worker s (2002) and for data analysis Pearson and regression correlation ratio methods were used. The findings says that social undermining includs all negative behavior that occurs by employees over time and Weakening the abilities of person. Social undermining consequences include attitudinal consequences, health and well-being consequences  and behavioral consequences. Also, results showed that: there is a significant negative relationship between  dimensions of Social undermining (supervisor, co-worker) and job involvement. Both dimensions  of  Social undermining  have  the ability to predict changes in job involvement and about 7. 3% of the variance grades have been defined.
