Qualitative analysis of health education in education from the perspective of elementary school principals
The main purpose of this study was the qualitative analysis of health education in education from the perspective of primary school principals. The type of this research was qualitative and applied in terms of purpose and its method is phenomenological, in terms of collecting exploratory information and using data theory of the foundation (Strauss and Corbin). The statistical population of this study included all primary school principals in West Azerbaijan province. . The sampling method is purposeful and the sample size is based on theoretical saturation logic. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview, the data analysis was done through coding. , Grouped and constructed concepts, and from their comparison and classification, categories were determined. The scientific validity of this study was assessed through four criteria of reliability, transferability, reliability and validity. The results of the analysis of interviews showed that in the present study, health education in schools includes the five main components of public health, mental health, physical health, nutritional health, and accident safety education. In general, the findings indicate inattention, lack of seriousness and lack of priority in health education, inadequate school environment, lack of nutrition education, lack of safety facilities in schools in West Azerbaijan.
