Abstract:
The purpose of the research was to investigate the effect of creative thinking skills training on the creativity of elementary school students. The research method was experimental with a two-group design with pre-test and post-test with control group. The statistical population was all second grade elementary school students in Shiraz. Subjects were selected through simple random sampling among the statistical population. To collect the data, Abedi's inventory questionnaire (1993) was used with appropriate validity and validity. The findings were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANCOVA) using SPSS software. The results showed that creative thinking skills increased the creativity of the second grade elementary school students.
