Examining the executive policies of the government in providing housing for low-income groups in the territory of nomads (case study: Urmia city)

Housing, as a basic human need, has always been an important issue throughout history, and its provision is of particular importance. As housing is considered one of the basic human needs, it naturally has a high priority in social and economic development planning and plays an important role in improving the livability of society and the quality of life of individuals and families.Research: The objective of this article is to evaluate and examine the government's executive policies in providing housing for low-income groups of nomads in Urmia County. The statistical population includes experts, specialists, and informants.

The present study is descriptive-analytical in terms of purpose and method. Multi-criteria decision-making methods such as SAW, VIKOR, and IDEAS were used for data analysis.Geographical scope of the research: The study area in this research is Urmia County.

The most important government executive policies to provide housing for low-income nomadic groups in Urmia County are Mehr Housing, renovation and revitalization of dilapidated areas, informal settlement regularization and empowerment plan, and new city plans.

The managerial aspect has more potential for development compared to other components such as economic, social, and physical in providing housing for vulnerable groups.
