Studying of intelligent automobiles performance and their role in control and reduce urban traffic in Northern Khorasan province

Traffic, today in the life of humans is a well-known term, which has become complex in particular due to the specific characteristics of contemporary life, which tends to be more mobile and active. With the increasing development of machine life in the era of technology and more mobility of passengers and goods, the discussion of intra-urban transportation services is being introduced in a newer form, which, given the wide dimension in the absence of scientific and expert control, has a significant role in social, cultural, Human, economic and even political. The purpose of this research is to identify the performance and role of intelligent vehicles and other factors affecting urban traffic scourge reduction. The statistical population of this study is all drivers of private and public riding vehicles in Northern Khorasan province. For selection of sample, a stratified sampling method has been used. The statistical sample of this study includes 220 private and public car drivers. The data collection tool is a survey, interview and questionnaire. Considering the fact that in the present study, the relationship between the role of smart cars and other factors affecting urban traffic is measured. Regarding the normal variables, Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used. The results indicate that intelligent transportation systems, if used appropriately, would be able to play a significant role directly and indirectly on urban management and the establishment of an electronic municipality in the Northern Khorsan province.
