The Impact of Addiction Treatment Centers on Preventing the Returning of Addicted People (the Case Study of Northern Khorasan Province)
Constructing the addiction treatment centers are one of the regular initiatives to deal with addiction treatment. Considering that the addiction is one of the major issues in our society and northern khorasan is not excepted from this problem. Despite the several meetings and workshops in related organizations and related personnel efforts, the output of addiction treatment centers is not acceptable and the numbers of addicted people are not declining. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to determine the impact of addiction treatment centers in preventing the returning of addicts. In order to conduct this study the survey method is used. The statistical population of this study consists of all persons referring to 13 drug addiction camps in Article 15 of the Counter Narcotics Law of Northern Khorasan province during the year 2016, which is a total of 4000 people. According to the Morgan’s table, the sample size was 350 people. Findings indicate that management practices-physical design, collaboration, and NSA monitoring and well-being-based on changes have a great impact on preventing recurrence of addicts and can be used as a useful therapeutic approach.
