Genetic changes of plants and animals in the light of biological ethics with an approach to Imam Khomeini's point of view

The genetic changes of plants and animals and its impact on food health are important issues from the point of view of jurisprudence, law and bioethics. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the legal jurisprudence of genetic changes of plants and animals and food health in the light of bioethics with an approach from the perspective of Imam Khomeini (RA).

This research is of theoretical type and the research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection is library and has been done by referring to documents, books and articles.Ethical Considerations: In order to organize this research, while observing the authenticity of the texts, honesty and fidelity have been observed.

Although the genetic changes of plants and animals are not haram per se from the point of view of jurisprudence, but if corruption and dangers result from it; It can be declared forbidden and haram by means of the harmless rule.

The results of the article indicate that the change of plant and animal genetics and the use of transgenic plant and transgenic animal products are allowed by resorting to the originality of Abahah. But it should be noted that first, the harmlessness of these products should be proved scientifically.
