The legitimacy of using artificial intelligence in Verdict

Most legal systems are hesitant to provide explanations for artificial intelligence. The research requested by the TURI committee of the European Union considers artificial intelligence, in fact, a vague concept that covers a heterogeneous, wide and evolving set of applications. In Iran, perhaps in the near future, the use of artificial intelligence in this aspect will be a concern for researchers. Therefore, this research studies the legitimacy of using artificial intelligence in judicial affairs. Most legal systems are hesitant to provide explanations for artificial intelligence. This research is of a theoretical type and has been carried out using a descriptive-analytical method.

The answer to the legitimacy of artificial intelligence in judicial affairs depends on the explanation of the judgment evidence, the conditions of the judge and other branches in jurisprudence texts.
Based on evidence, the judgment of artificial intelligence cannot be legitimate; Finally, artificial intelligence can only be used as a tool for the judge due to its power of memory, receiving and processing information, and lack of vision errors.
