Identifying Environmental Factors Affecting the Success of Iranian Startups

start-up is a new business that offers a new solution to solve a problem; many consider it a new culture for new ideas and opposition to the existing ideas, the purpose of which is to solve existing problems in key points. The purpose of this article is to investigate the factors affecting the success of Iranian startups with an emphasis on environmental factors.
This article is descriptive-survey. Also, in order to identify the success components of start-ups, a qualitative method based on theme analysis and interviews with 17 experts was used. In the quantitative part, the factor analysis method was used and based on the extracted components, a questionnaire was prepared and given to 100 experts of start-up companies.
Ethical Considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are respected.
The results of the interviews led to the identification and classification of 4 main components and 29 sub-components. Also, the factor analysis showed that the extracted sub-components are suitable for each of the main components of the research conceptual model and are considered suitable explanations for them. Also, the relationship between the main components and the success component indicates that all components are effective in explaining success.
The results showed that all the components are effective in explaining the success of start-up companies in Iran, and among them, the environmental component has the highest factor load and the most impact in the first priority.
