Rate effect of satellite networks on social and family harms of people of Bojnourd city in years 2015-16

The effects of the satellite channels on their viewers are so great that it cannot be claimed that the adults are not affected and only the teenagers and the young should be vaccinated. Satellite serials are a factor in changing the Iranian families. When the family members spend hours to watch different satellite programs including family serials, most of the values such as the privacy between men and women loses its color. Nowadays, young boys and girls are freely communicating with each other without considering the sex and this situation is influenced by satellite channels. We witnessed an increase in illegal family relations and the family values which limit the relationship between men and women are put aside. This research aims at the satellite effects on the family and social harms among Bojnourd families with qualitative approach correlation. The statistical population of the research included all Bojnourd families- 45729 people- from which 381 families were selected based on Cronbach method (heterogeneous group method). The research instrument included a researcher-made questionnaire. The results showed that there was a meaningful and positive relationship between the rate of satellite use and family and social harms. The results of the Regression Analysis showed that the meaningful rate of all variables was less than 0.05. This shows that all variables influence the family and social harms.
