Identifying the Factors That Shape the Institutionalization of Activities in the Student Sports Program Teachers of Farhangian University in a Mixed Method

The aim of this study was to identify the factors affecting the institutionalization of extracurricular activities of student-teachers of Farhangian University in a combined method. In the qualitative part, the data theory method was used with the Strauss-Corben approach and in the quantitative part, factor analysis was used. The statistical population consisted of qualitative experts who were purposefully selected and interviewed based on theoretical saturation. 11 of them; Also, the statistical population in the quantitative section was the students and teachers of Farhangian University, and based on the number of parameters identified in the qualitative section of the research, 535 of them were randomly selected. In order to analyze the data in the qualitative part, three overlapping processes of open coding, axial coding and selective coding were used, and in the quantitative part, the confirmatory factor analysis method was used. Qualitative results related to the institutionalization of extracurricular activities showed 107 concepts and 25 sub-categories that were categorized in terms of causal, contextual, intervening, strategies and consequences. Also, based on quantitative findings, 90 concepts and 22 subsets were confirmed. Based on these results, it can be said that moving towards the study of institutionalization capabilities requires understanding the conceptual model of all factors affecting it.
