Rural sociology of Iran and effective factors in tourism development

One of the topics that has been strongly paid attention to by rural sociologists today is rural tourism and its effect on the sustainable and all-round development of the village. From the perspective of rural sociology, various factors play a role in the development of rural tourism and, accordingly, the development of villages. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to evaluate the effective factors in the development of rural tourism from a sociological point of view, and then to identify the prioritization and importance of each of the factors in the villages of Ilam province. In this way, we can help policymakers and decision makers in the field of tourism to make more practical decisions. Based on this, the question of the current research is that, firstly, what are the most important factors affecting the growth and development of rural tourism in Ilam province? And then which of the mentioned factors are more important in the development of rural tourism in the study area? In terms of nature, this research is of the type of integrated quantitative-qualitative research and in terms of purpose; It is considered as applied research. In terms of data collection, descriptive-analytical and survey research methods (interviews and questionnaires) have been used. The findings of the research indicate that among the 20 sub-factors affecting the development of tourism in the target points, two infrastructural factors (direct transportation facilities between the villages of Ilam province and neighboring provinces, sufficient supervision and effective control levers regarding improvement, maintenance and maintenance) and a social-cultural factor (education and generalization of communication methods in tourism areas) have been given more priority.
