To determine the degree in the marital relationship in the pre- and post-test stages، the Simmons and Gahr Distress Tolerance Questionnaire (DTS) were used. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) test was used to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. Meanwhile، the significance level in this study was set at 0.05. The results of analysis of covariance showed that the treatment scheme was effective on tolerating distress and emotional divorce.
