Startups and start-ups
The acceleration process begins with evaluation and selection from the applicant's businesses. Understanding the criteria used in the evaluation and selection process is important for accelerators, on the one hand, and for applicants for acceleration courses, on the other. The overall purpose of the research is to examine the role of energy accelerators in the creation of start-ups. In this research, the statistical population consists of two parts: the qualitative part which includes 8 academic experts and successful managers of active accelerators in Iran and the small part which includes all managers and trainers of active accelerators in Iran. The number is 158. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply exploratory research in terms of purpose. Also, data were collected by mixed (qualitative-quantitative) method. A researcher-made questionnaire with face validity was used for data collection and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine reliability. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated for the questionnaire (0.763), which is statistically acceptable and indicates the reliability of the questionnaire. To test the hypotheses in this study, SPSS software version 22 and LISREL version 8.5 software were used. The statistical methods used in this study were Structural Equation Test to investigate the hypotheses and also AHP Hierarchical Analysis Test to rank the variables. The results show that, compared to the five problem-solving dimensions, the ability to copy or replace is limited by 71%, and product sample readiness is 53.6%. Compared to the five other factors of entrepreneurship team, the passion and seriousness of the team with 83.8% is in the first place, and the technology expertise in the team with 48.4% is in the last place. Compared to the other five factors of accelerator, the positive impression of return on investment with 62.2% is in the first place, and the liquidity of capital with 57.4% in the last place. Compared to the three main dimensions, the accelerator dimension with 92% is in the first place, the problem-solution dimension with 55.3% and the entrepreneurial team with 53%. The results show that accelerators in the field of energy use 22 criteria in three dimensions - problem, solution, entrepreneur and accelerator team, and business creation. These criteria measure not only one dimension independently but also interact with the other two dimensions. In fact, problem-solution-team fit, problem-solution-accelerator fit, as well as the fit of the entrepreneur and accelerator teams in examining the role of energy accelerators in creating start-ups with the criteria under consideration.
