Research article: Social media management system with the national security approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Social media have become the main communication bridge and the dominant medium of human communication and have a very noticeable and decisive role in modern human communication. These important developments have prompted the planners and decision-makers to make the most of the opportunities and avoid the threats of these media, to create regulations and policies and to create a suitable and efficient management system in this area in order to improve the national security of the country. Due to the pervasiveness of social media and the increase of their effects on all components of national security, the countries of the world have adopted and implemented various strategies in the management of these media and the policy making and management of social media in order to resolve political, security, economic, legal, cultural and social concerns in It is the agenda of all governments, therefore, designing a social media management system with a national security approach can help policy makers, planners, managers and decision makers to make effective decisions in the management of these media in the country. In this regard, the aim of this research is to present a social media management system with the national security approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research is of applied-developmental-strategic type and was done using mixed research method. In this research, based on library studies, a collection of documents including the statements of the supreme leader, upper-level documents and existing laws and regulations, the researches and future studies of social media, their content was examined and analyzed, and then a comparative study of the strategy of selected countries in social media management was carried out. done. In the following, the components and actions of the social media management system with the national security approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran were counted. In the next step, by using a questionnaire, the output measures of the presented system were evaluated and confirmed using SPSS software.
