Abstract:
Combat readiness and preventing the consequences of not having access to operational and reliable equipment is very important in the field of maintaining military assets and the loss of valuable assets is a major concern in military organizations. Long-term storage of assets and equipment should be the goal of every military organization to support on the battlefield by providing safe, Fully capable of performing the mission, reliable, and lethal weapon systems. Storage centers should make these weapon systems accessible timely and operantionaly to soldiers to carry out wartime missions and threats. This reduces the total cost of asset maintenance in the long term, and besides that, it increases the life of equipment and maintains them to deal with unforeseen crises. The current research is one of the applied researches in terms of purpose, and library and internet researches in terms of the place of research. In this article, the goal is to identify the destructive factors that endanger the health of equipment and assets, so that the necessary measures can be taken to eliminate or minimize the effect of each, then a model or cycle for long-term storage of military equipment is presented until the steps are taken. Making this process clear that in this article, this process is described with regard to the activities carried out in a storage and reconstruction center for armored equipment and tools.
