The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employees' Mental Health Through the Role of Organizational Commitment
The present study examines the impact of emotional intelligence on employees' mental health through organizational commitment.
The research method used is descriptive, survey and correlation type. Also, the statistical population of this research includes all the employees of Valex company. The sample size was determined using Cochran's formula of 65 people and the sampling method of this research is simple random. Research data was collected by library and field method and questionnaire was used as the tool. The validity of the research tool was confirmed by using the collective opinion of experts and experts, and the reliability of the research was confirmed as 0.805. The data were also analyzed using the structural equation model with Smartpls software.
The results indicate that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on employees' mental health and organizational commitment.
Also, the results have shown that the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment is significant. Also, the result of the mediation hypothesis shows that the variable of organizational commitment significantly mediates (increases) the relationship between the variable of emotional intelligence and mental health of employees with an effect coefficient of 0.445. As a result, the desired hypothesis is confirmed.
