Presenting an Effective Model of Organizational Health based on Knowledge Management Components with the Mediation of Organizational Silence in High School
The purpose of this research is to present theorganizational health model of schools based on knowledgemanagement with the mediation of organizational silence insecondary schools in Tehran
The present study was applied interms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms ofnature and method. The statistical population of secondaryschool teachers in Tehran in the academic year of 2001-1401was (970,685 people) and the statistical sample was 300people based on common methods in structural equations.with cluster and stratified random sampling method. The datacollection tools of the current research were standardorganizational health questionnaires by Hoy and Feldman(1996), knowledge management by Nonaka and Takeuchi(1995), and organizational silence by van Dyne (2003).
The results of the current research showed that theaverage state of organizational health of schools,organizational silence is higher than the average of the societyand their organizational innovation is lower than the averagein the middle school of Tehran. In fact, knowledgemanagement has a significant relationship with organizationalhealth both directly and through organizational silence.
The higher the knowledge management insecondary schools in Tehran, the higher the organizationalhealth. But the intervening variable of organizational silencereduces the effect of knowledge management onorganizational health. But in general, the organizational healthof secondary schools in Tehran can be explained throughknowledge management.
