Investigation of socio-cultural factors affecting aggression tendency
The present study was conducted on socio-cultural factors affecting the tendency to aggression. Aggression is verbal and non-verbal behavior that is done with the intention of physically and mentally harming another. Today, aggression has become an acute social problem at all levels of society.
According to the last census of the year (2016),the statistical population of this study is estimated at 41,733. 270 people were selected as the sample population through the Cochran formula. They were selected by random cluster sampling. The data of this research were collected through a survey and questionnaire. In the theoretical framework of the research, various related theories of independent and dependent variables have been used. Data analysis was done by t-test and f, analysis of variance, correlation and multivariate regression using SPSS-16 software.
The result obtained with the research has been shown to be acceptable in statistical societies inside and outside the country. Also, using multivariate regression, R2 = 65 was obtained, which shows that the independent variables of the research explained 65% of the variance of the dependent variable (tendency to aggression.
Based on the results, independent variables have been identified as influential factors on the tendency to aggression in the study population, so immediate and inclusive attention to targeted planning to limit the negative and non-positive impact of this harmful phenomenon. At the community level, it is demanded by subordinate devices.
