Effects of adoption of innovation in rural development

Today, with the increase in the population in the villages, the lack of resources and insufficient income has caused problems and issues in the field of agriculture. One of the reasons for the progress of today's societies is the spread and acceptance of innovation. Because with the passage of time, people's needs are increasing or changing, so new solutions are necessary so that they can solve their needs through them, and this provides the foundations for progress and a prominent role in society. Innovation is one of the progress indicators of rural development. Accepting innovations and using them in daily life is the factor of job development, job creation and income increase, as well as improving the quality of life and improving performance in villages. Since the risk-taking in rural communities is low, this limits the adoption of innovation in these communities, so innovations in villages that are compatible with the social, economic and environmental conditions of these communities should be implemented. The purpose of this article, which was prepared using library and internet resources, tries to express the concepts of innovation and rural development and explain the characteristics of innovation, its acceptance and the effects it has on the process of rural development.
