Content Analysis of Websites and Social Media Using aPsychological Operation Approach in the Field of Public Security
The present study aims to investigate and analyze the content of websites and virtual social media using a psychological operation technique in the field of public security.
The method of this research is qualitative research. Due to the nature of the research, a content analysis method was used, and the statistical population in this part of the research includes 539 items of news and articles related to the psychological operation and public security on the websites of “Hamshahrionline”, “JaameJam online”, and social media including the Young Researchers Club Telegram channel and the “KhabarFowri News” Telegram channel. The statistical sample of this part of the research was selected based on the content analysis of 265 items of content in various formats in social networks and 274 items of content in the above-mentioned websites using sampling. Also, to collect information; the content analysis tool, variable coding, and reverse questionnaire were used.
The findings of this research indicate that the studied media have used the psychological operation technique of "repetition" more than other techniques in the preparation, production, and dissemination of news and content in the field of psychological operation.
