An Overview of the Development-oriented Nature and Function of Media Platforms in the Age of Information and Communication Technology
The evolution and development of social networks has been very rapid in recent years, so that it has provided a very suitable space for the immediate sharing of information on text or multimedia platforms between two or more people on the social platform. As a powerful reflection of the structure and dynamics of the 21st century society and the interaction of the Internet generation with technology and different people. In fact, the dramatic growth of social multimedia content and user-generated content has revolutionized all stages of the content value chain, including production, processing, distribution, and consumption. It has also brought a new aspect of science and technology, which is underestimated and is now vital, to the multimedia sector: this study has focused on the nature and development-oriented function of the use of media platforms in contemporary society with a documentary and review method. Since media platforms play an important role in shaping public opinion and influencing social discourse, they have the power to reinforce certain narratives and viewpoints, thus affecting the way people understand and engage with various issues. Furthermore, the prevalence of misinformation and fake news on these platforms is a critical challenge in maintaining the integrity of information shared online, and the rise of media platforms has blurred the lines between the public and private spheres, leading to concerns about maintaining Data privacy has been monitored. As a result, the complex nature of media platforms and their multifaceted impact on different dimensions of human society has become more apparent. Moving forward, it is critical for policymakers, technology companies, and users to address these implications and work to create a more transparent, ethical, and responsible digital environment.
