The Relation of Truth and Justification in Fumerton's Foundationalism

Richard Fumerton in his article "Classical foundationalism" formulates his theory of justification on the basis of the notion of direct familiarity. His theories of justification and truth are closely related with each other. In his theory of truth he defends realism and in the other with each other. one, he supports an internal foundationalism. The present paper seeks first to elaborate the theory of justification with a particular regard to the notion of truth as well as the status of this theory to an inward-outward conflict. Secondly, a translation of his paper is provided.
