The Relevant Factors of Prayer Establishment in Students

The goal of this research is to identify and study the situation of the individual prayer, congregational group and Friday (Jomeh) prayers and their relevant factors in the high school and university students. The research method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population was 94 high schools from Kerman city and the university of Shahid Bahonar of kerman. The research sample was 27 high schools that 291 high school students were chosen by random sampling method and 400 university students who were chosen by stratified sampling method.The necessary data were gathered by questionnaire. The data analysis was carried out by Bi-dominal, Mann –Whitnney, Kruskal Wallis and Spearman tests. The results of the research showed that sex was effective on the participation of the university students in the congregational (group) prayer. There was a relationship between the age and the university students’ individual and, congregational (group) Prayer. The diploma average was effective on the students’ participation in the Friday prayer. There was a weak and positive relationship between the scores average of the students in the university and establishing their prayers. Nativity of the university students was effective on establishing their prayers. Residence of the students was effective on their participation on the congregational and Friday prayer.
