A case report of delayed traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the popliteal artery

Early or delayed-onset complications of posttraumatic pseudoaneurysms of the popliteal artery are rare. In this case a man with delayed posttraumatic popliteal aneurysm 17 years after a mortar trauma is introduced. The right posterior region of popliteal fossa in a 40- year old man with a history of mortar trauma, 17 years postwar was gradually filled and induced immobility. Using vascular angiography psudoaneurysm of the region was reported. The case was undergone aneurysm resection and discharged five days after surgery. exacerbation of�pseudoaneurysms of the popliteal artery, even after 17 years, is possible, and this deserves strictly taking a history of trauma in all cases of popliteal masses.
