Author(s):
Abstract:
In the history of Calligraphy, the Qoran – Calligraphy is the fulfillment of the sacred essence of this art. Furthermore one should seek the highest point of calligraphy splendor in the Qoran – Calligraphy field. Besides the Qoran Calligraphy entity, there are two other social & historical factors having important parts in the Qoran- Calligraphy development: the first is establishment of official schools, the second, the Moslem Il-khans ruling Iran, later the 7th century and early 8th century. This is why the Il-khan age or A.H 7th and 8th centuries are the most creative era in the history of Islamic civilization. In all Qoran- Calligraphy fields, Moslem artists are in the highest point such as calligraphy (in the group of so-called Arabic script), decoration ways and other cases related to book e.g. the size and book binding. The aesthetic feature of the Qoran- Calligraphy in this age is the combination of the two concepts: Greatness and beauty that is due to love and authority and in comparison with later ages, meaning beauty and elegance ages, we see the real fulfillment of calligraphy splendor and Qoran- Calligraphy. Perhaps the real combination of Eastern and western artist's abilities in Islamic world is one of the reasons of this idea.
