Prophet's Traditions in " Eghdol- Ola" *

Afzaladdin Abu Hamed Ahmad Ibn Hamed Kermani, known as Afzal-e-Kerman is one of the greatest writer of late 6th (A.H) century. His most famous book is titled”Egdol-Ola-Lel Mughef-Al-A’ala” which is a valuable example of literary prose of the 6th (A.H) century. This prose is full of Quranic verses, traditions, quotations, statements and Arabic poems. The most perfect example of this kind of prose can be seen in the works of Ahmad Ibn Hamed Kermani, Zydari and Nasrollah Ibn Abdolhamid Monshi Shirazi. This article presents Prophet’s traditions used in the above book to introduce this knowledgeable man of letters and historian.
