The study of mental health & happiness among Yazd university students

Abstract:
This study is designed for investigation of mental health considering gender among Yazd university students. Mental health variables included GHQ as measure for screening of mental illness, and happiness. Also correlation between these variables was studied. 600 students randomly selected and then received questionnaires. 554 questionnaires returned and analyzed by SPSS. The instruments had suitable validity and reliability. The results showed that in total score and sub-scale difference between two sex wasn’t significant. The correlation between GHQ-28 and happiness was significant
