The Consequences of Talking to Cell phone for Pedestrains Crossing the Street

Studies on drivers have shown that pedestrains who talk to phone while they are crossing the street, are in danger more than other pedestrains. In other words, talking to cell phone has always threaten the safety of pedestrains. In a case study about 270 women and 276 men, the behavior fo pedestraions who talked to cell phone compared with those who did not talk to cell phone.The results showed women crossed slower and did not notice the vehide movements. Men also in intersections without Traffic light moved slowly. In general, the study showed a significant difference between to talking to cell phone and confusion while crossing the street.
