A Search About the Means of Revelation

The means of revelation" is a part of the Quranic related studies, that appears in the most of the books written about the Quranic knowledge, and refers to the time, situation, and personal/social events related to revelation of the Quranic verses.In this essay, the writer first defines the term "means of revelation" according to lexicon, the holy Qur¨an, and the holy traditions. He then explains the "once, comperhensive", and "brief" revelation of Qur¨an. After giving some notes and references from the Islamic scholars in this field, he pays attention to the kinds and varieties of "means of revelations". The results and advantages of knowing such means; the approaches to such means, the ways and methods to recognize the true means, and the influence(s) of such "means of revelations" are discussed later on.
