Application of dimensionless hypsometric curves for evaluation of erosion and sedimentation zones in Kheir Abad basin

Physical properties of watersheds such as elevation and topography have highly direct and indirect effects on the basin erosion and sedimentation. In this research, for evaluation of erosion and sedimentation areas in the Kheie Abad basin, the dimensionless hypsometry tables and curves are calculated and plotted. Based on the calculated tables and curves, the Nazmakan sub basin has a medium elevation with wide spread plain area. Also, according to the calculated tables, the Seied Abad sub basin is in its early stage with high erosion level. The final results show, the Kheir Abad basin is relatively in its equilibrium condition.
