Effectiveness of strategic instruction of goal management on self- efficacy according to attribution styles

Abstract:
Along to study the Effectiveness of strategic instruction of goal management on self- efficacy to attend to madiated effects of attribution styles, 60 subjects selected in way clusteral sampling among girls students thirth grade of Tabriz high school and by considering variables same as (age, sex, educational course and social status) were placed in two experimental and control groups. The experimental groups received twelve 60- minutes education sessions of goal management strategies. Becouse of research design (pre-test and post-test with control group), measuring tools for Causal Dimension Scale and Sherr's General Self- Efficacy Scale were implemented at two times (before and after training). Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and Pearson correlation cofficient with SPSS were used for analyzing of data. Results showed that the education of goal management strategies by considering attribution styles (Internal- external) has had positive effect in increasing of student’s self- efficacy. Results also illustrated that there was positive relationship between attribution styles (Internal- external), and self- efficacy.
