Explanation of the Consequences of Positive Organizational Behavior (POB) Among Iranian Librerians

This study tends to identify the consequences of positive organizational behavior (POB) and its components (self-efficacy, hope, resiliency and optimism) in organizations. The research sample consists of 128 librarians who are members of the Iranian Academy of Librarianship. Findings show that the level of POB and its components are above medium among Iranian librarians. Also it is found that optimism has the highest significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The only component variable of POB which demonstrates a significant relationship with respondent's educational level is their self-efficacy.
