Typology of Salvation in the Christian Religious Traditions

Author(s):
Abstract:
“Salvation” and “savior” has always been an important and attractive topic for the all religions. Yet, religions might be united only in these two points and not in their explanation or their components. From the Christian point of view, man comes to this world with a handful of sins; his life in this materialistic and corrupted nature is accounted as a non blessed legacy that he has inherited from his ancestors. Man can never be rescued from this regretful situation through relying on his personal abilities or even by practicing the Moosavi method (the religion of Prophet Moses). Therefore, Jesus, as the son of God or God himself, in the garb of a human, has come to earth to save man from this corrupted nature and after being crucified and going back to the sky, he will return with the same deliverance only in addition to that, he will bring along with him the ideal of forming a government that is the Utopia of the children of Israel.
