A study of network skills of M.A students in Payam-e Noor University of Dezful as a factor affecting e-learning in part-time and remote education

Abstract:
Purpose
The aims of this study is to test and evaluate the student's familiarity with network skills which can be considered as effective and determinant factors in the implementation and execution of e-learning in Payam-e Noor University.Methodology
It was done using descriptive survey method. In order to gather the desirable data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. The sample size composed of 356 students of Payam-e Noor University of Dezful. Data analysis was done using SPSS software (version 14).Findings
The network skills of the students were estimated in a level less than the average limit. The findings also showed a significant relationship between internet skills and using e-journals.Conclusion
It was recommended that it is necessary to hold the purposeful and systematic user education programs for training ICDL and internet skills before the registration of the students in order to provide a suitable bed for the implementation and execution of e-learning in Payam-e Noor University.Language:
