Message:
Abstract:
This article is an analytical discussion that puts forward a viewpoint on different aspects of islamicization of universities in iran, using two documentary and content analysis methods. In documentary method most of documents relating to history of literature have been studied. In content analysis method the required data are gathered through questionnaire and software and the idea of islamicization of universities in Iran and different opinions on islamicization are compared and studied. Studying documents proves that islamicization of universities is not a quite novel idea but is a division of social engineering idea and there is a linkage between the idea of islamicization of universities and islamicization of society. On the other hand, islamicization and discordant ideas are also a social reality. The idea of islamicization with the aim of developing religious and islamic lookout in university and society and rejecting other schools (western and secular) confronts a vital challenge. To analyze the issue we have to study the relation between science and social institutions.
