Studies of some cancer markers and blood factors in DMBA- induced breast cancer in SD rat strains

Animal suitable models are very useful tools in the studies of complicated diseases. In this way we can study the heterogeneity of human genome and also we can minimize the effect of environmental factors in the incidence of cancers. In this study the expression of VWF and PCNA in tumors was determined by immunohistochemistry and also we measured three cancer markers and two blood factors from affected rats. we have gavaged 10 mg DMBA dissolved in 0.5 ml sesame oil to the DMBA-treated SD rat strains.
