Landslide Hazard Zoning in Kale Salar watershed Basin

Abstract:
Kale Salar watershed basin is located in Torbat Heidarieh township and has confronted numerous slope, Khorasan Razavi Province (Iran) dynamics during recent years. Using Anbalagan model and consideration of effective indicators in landslide hazard occurrence fossibility of mapping of landslide Zoning for this region has been supplied. In this research seven, Faulting, lithology land use, elevation,factors such as slope steep are considered as landslide determinants., hydrogeology and soil conditions By weightening of these factors and their total scores sensitive regions for landslide occurrence are determine. the Zoning map of landslide hazard, Then using this method and GIS the most risky regions, occurrence is presented. Based on this zoning map central and southern of this basin because of kind of geological, are eastern slope steep and land use patterns., formation Total area of this basin is 2139 km2 and 18.14 percent of this region is located in intense hazardous Zone and 1059 km2 (49.5 percent of total area) is located in moderate hazardous Zone and 31.2 percent and 1.1 percent are located in less hazardous and very less hazardous zone respectively.
