The relationship between Neighborhood Cooperation and Sense of Security in Mashhad Rural Areas

The present study tries to investigate the relationship between neighborhood cooperation and sense of security in Mashhad rural areas. All the households residing as the neighbors of the rural areas of Mashhad formed the statistical population from which 85 neighborhood networks were selected as the statistical sample. The findings demonstrate that “sense of security” is significantly related to such variables as neighbor trust، approach to the physical environment، cooperation in the neighborhood affairs، level of literacy، working in the social associations of the neighborhood and the economic-social level of the neighborhood.
