The Relationship between the Dimensions of Learning Organization and Transformational Leadership
Some management students advocated new “generative transformational” forms of learning to deal with turbulent and competitive environment. These assumptions rise to the notion of learning organization. However, examining the relationship between the dimensions of learning organization and other organizational elements makes it possible to draw on suitable strategies in order to improve learning. This is a survey research. Considering goal, it is an applied research. Population of the study includes National Petrochemical companies. The suitable sample of Companies is selected based on simple random sampling. The findings of the present research illustrate that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and the dimensions of learning organization. In addition, this research shows a significant relationship between transformational Leadership and three dimensions (among 7 dimensions) of learning organization which consist of "continiues learning", "team learning", and "embedding system". Considering the triple levels of learning organization, the findings illustrate a significant relationship between transformational leadership and two levels of learning organization (group and organizational).
