Review of motion and life of literary images in Nahjol-balaghesermons

The quality of imagery is one of the best elements of prosperity and beauty of each literary work. Whatever images are more active and more alive, promote the value and status of the text; because it makes it more vitality and charm and poet or writer speech will be more perceptible and tangible. Sermons of Imam Ali that were a big step in the right direction and guidance of people’s thought, in addition to religious value and guidance, from a literary quality point of view has a high place. These sermons filled with dynamic literary images that make a clear and palpable spaces for the audiences and because the mood of people of the era had not much spaces from ignorant behaviors, so these sermons require application of tangible and understandable images to accept easier the words of Imam. Imam Ali with proper use of obvious simile, strong metaphor, colors compatible with description of space, sounds in accordance with meaning, paradox and in general literary and artistic subtle images, in addition to impressive and beautiful sermons, caused to it be more dynamin and understandable. His mainly intuitive metaphors and similes internalize religious concepts, dignity, justice and Jihad in the soul and conscience of audiences. Colors such a yellow, red, black and white which sometimes are implications of metonymy and allusions, are again on the way to more alive of literacy images. Sounds and tones of the words are in accordance with the meaning, and paradoxes, precision and elegance of images, has been presented the words of Imam more value and esteem.
