Sublime love In Contemporary Persian poetry

Love is one of the main subjects of Persian poetry and the noblest and most important base of mysticism; however، even though approaches to it، based on social demands of the time، have varied، it has never been neglected. Contemporary Persian poetry is never bereft of love، and contemporary poetry approaches love from different viewpoints. The present essay sets out to reveal the new concept given by contemporary poems to Persian poetry which in some poems can be called sublime” or Platonic love. Because this trend seemed to be incongruent with contemporary poetry، it has been ignored and minimized by critics.
