The Mutual Relationship Between Human Rights and Peace

Abstract:
undoubtedly, peace is one of human rights. Having right to live in security and living in a peaceful environment is one of the human rights that is emphasized in most of human rights’ documents. Actually, Peace is necessary feature other features of human rights as well. In the absence of peace and security, it cannot be expected that human rights be realized. Therefore, peace is an obvious feature of human rights and at the same time, it is a prerequisite for its attainment. On the other hand, observing human rights in each society is as a result of peace and security. Conflict is itself one of the fundamental factors in breaching human rights. Nevertheless, human right is a prerequisite for the establishment of peace at any society. Breaching human rights prepares an adequate background for conflicting in a society. When the individuals’ rights are not observed in a society, there is no guarantee for peace. Thus, it has to be mentioned here, there is a close and mutual relationship between peace and security and this article tries to explain and elaborate this relationship.
